What To Buy Online Shopping Mall Terms and Conditions
1. Purpose These Terms and Conditions define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of What To Buy (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") and users when using the services (hereinafter referred to as "the Services") provided by the online shopping mall operated by the Company.
2. Definitions
- "Shopping Mall" refers to the virtual business place set up by the Company to trade goods or services with users using computers and other information communication equipment.
- "User" refers to both members and non-members who access the Shopping Mall and receive the services provided by the Company in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- "Member" refers to a person who provides personal information to register as a member and continuously receives information from the Shopping Mall and can use the services provided by the Shopping Mall continuously.
3. Publication and Amendment of the Terms and Conditions
- The Company shall publish these Terms and Conditions, the Company’s name, office location, representative’s name, business registration number, and contact information on the initial service screen of the Shopping Mall for users to easily access.
- The Company may amend these Terms and Conditions within the scope not violating relevant laws, such as the Regulation of Standardized Contracts Act, Framework Act on Electronic Transactions, Electronic Signature Act, Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, Door-to-Door Sales Act, and Consumer Protection Act.
4. Provision and Modification of Services
- The Company provides the following services:
- Providing information on goods or services and entering into purchase contracts
- Delivering goods or services for which purchase contracts are concluded
- Other tasks designated by the Company
- The Company may change the content of goods or services to be provided in future contracts due to sold-out items or changes in technical specifications.
5. Membership Registration
- Users apply for membership by filling out member information according to the registration form set by the Company and expressing their consent to these Terms and Conditions.
- Membership is open to individuals of all ages.
6. Orders and Payment
- Users can place orders according to the methods provided by the Shopping Mall.
- All orders must be completed at least 3 days before departure.
- Payment is made through methods designated by the Company.
7. Shipping and Pickup
- The Company primarily ships the purchased goods within Korea.
- The Company provides a pickup service for users departing from the airport. Details of the pickup service will be provided separately.
8. Refunds and Exchanges
- Refunds are available only for valid reasons.
- Exchanges are not allowed due to the policy considering the main customers being departing tourists.
9. Protection of Personal Information
- The Company collects the minimum amount of personal information necessary to provide the Services.
- The Company does not pre-collect information necessary for the fulfillment of purchase contracts during membership registration.
- The Company does not provide users' personal information to third parties without users' consent, except as required by law.
10. Company Obligations
- The Company shall not engage in acts prohibited by laws and these Terms and Conditions or contrary to public order and shall strive to provide continuous and stable goods and services as stipulated in these Terms and Conditions.
- The Company shall have a security system to protect users' personal information (including credit information) so that users can safely use internet services.
11. Members' ID and Password Obligations
- Members are responsible for managing their ID and password.
- Members shall not allow third parties to use their ID and password.
- If a member's ID and password are stolen or used by a third party, the member shall immediately notify the Company and follow the Company's instructions.
12. Users' Obligations Users shall not engage in the following activities:
- Registration of false information during application or modification
- Theft of others' information
- Changing information posted by the Company
- Transmitting or posting information (such as computer programs) other than the information designated by the Company
- Infringement of intellectual property rights of the Company and third parties
- Acts that damage the reputation of the Company or third parties or interfere with their business
13. Dispute Resolution
- The Company shall establish and operate a compensation handling mechanism to reflect legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users and compensate for the damage.
- The Company shall prioritize handling complaints and opinions submitted by users. However, if prompt handling is difficult, the Company shall immediately notify the user of the reasons and the processing schedule.
14. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
- Any litigation regarding electronic commerce disputes arising between the Company and the user shall be governed by the address of the user at the time of filing, and if the address is not available, the local court having jurisdiction over the user's residence.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
15. Intellectual Property
- The copyright and other intellectual property rights for works created by the Company belong to the Company.
- Users shall not use the Company’s works for commercial purposes without prior consent from the Company or allow third parties to use them.
16. Service Interruption
- The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of Services due to maintenance, replacement, or malfunction of information and communication equipment such as computers, or interruption of communication.
- The Company shall not be liable for damages incurred by users or third parties due to the temporary suspension of Services. However, if the Company has caused such interruption intentionally or through gross negligence, this shall not apply.
17. Disclaimer
- The Company shall not be liable for the inability to provide Services due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure.
- The Company shall not be liable for service disruptions caused by users' faults.
- The Company shall not be responsible for any loss of expected profits from the use of the Services or any damage caused by the data obtained through the Services.

19. Amendment of Terms and Conditions

- Users who do not agree to the amended Terms and Conditions may request to terminate their membership. If users continue to use the Services after the effective date of the amended Terms and Conditions, they are deemed to have agreed to the amendments.
